The conference will revitalize patients and their families and arm all attendees with knowledge, courage and hope to face the cancer journey.

This annual conference includes presentations, breakout sessions and panel discussions led by professionals from top Illinois medical institutions, including The University of Chicago Medical Center, Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Rush University Medical Center. Participants will be attending breakout sessions covering the diagnosis, treatments and side effects managements of leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma or myelodysplastic syndromes, respectively. Additional breakout sessions include presentations about healthcare reform, long-term survivorship, clinical trials and life challenges during the cancer journey; all presented by local experts.

In addition, Dr. Todd Zimmerman, of The University of Chicago Medical Center and a member of the LLS Illinois Chapter Board of Trustees, will introduce attendees to LLS Research and Patient Services.
